Initial meeting with Tristan was very informative. He was a great help in explaining/understanding the benefits of a trust. During the course of getting it established, everyone we worked with was very helpful and attentive to our questions and issues. When it came time to finalize the trust, Jenny was amazing. She is so thorough in her answers to our questions and explanations of the various documents. On top of that, she is very personable! As much as my husband dislikes dealing with paperwork, she made it easy for him and he actually enjoyed the time! Jenny at Elevated Estate Planning’s Yakima office did an excellent job guiding us through our documents. She broke everything down clearly, answered questions directly, and kept the process efficient. The Yakima location made it easy for us to come over from the west side, sign everything, and get back home before dark. Matt was great, and addressed everything we were looking for. When a loved one passes away navigating the, what do we do now, is more difficult than anyone expects. My dad passed in December and my mom fell apart. She called Elana at elevated estate planning and Elana helped us navigate everything. Then she put us in touch with Jenny. Jenny is amazing. Very informative. Fun and light hearted.

After many months of discussing the need to get our estate plan in order, we attended a free seminar put on by Matt at Elevated and were very impressed with how clear he explained everything and how he covered all aspects of the process. We called and set up a meeting with Craig Bannister. Craig was great to work with and really made the process seamless. A few weeks later we reviewed the overview of our plan and then met with Jenny to review and sign our documents. She made sure we were comfortable with our documents and didn't have any further questions before signing. We are now so relieved to finally get this important matter taken care of. We highly recommend working with Elevated and will share our experience with others we know.

It's obvious that Elevated Estate Planning is meticulously up to date with prevailing and upcoming estate laws. Matt made an excellent estate planning presentation and was very friendly. I already have a modest amount of knowledge of the various subtopics he covered, but he expanded on them a lot, and he had a ton of funny little jokes along the way that were hilarious to me (although I don't know that everybody in the audience caught all of them, but I'm an engineer so we tend to be a bit leak in our interpretation like things and probably have s sense of humor that's not to far of from those of lawyers). After his presentation he was very eager to answer a lot of detailed questions that people were asking him.

My wife and I have been looking for some sort of estate planning agency for a while since we are in our late-middle age, now have three fairly young kids (a kind of recent development - long separate story), and need to figure out how to ensure they are taken care of should anything ever happen to us. Matt's presentation covered a very wide range of bases that my wife and I have been thinking and talking about. Matt didn't explicitly describe anything as 'asset protection strategies', but much of what he covered will perform that function for us (making sure that if something happens to either my wife or I individually the other of us is a bit insulated and protected; and also our children are insulated and protected if something were to happen to both of us), as well as for minimizing unnecessary taxes and vastly streamlining the process of our heirs being able to get access to everything much more expediently and tax efficiently once we do pass away (whether that happens sooner or 40 years from now)

We will definitely be having a private meeting with someone from his firm to start putting together proper documents, I can only hope that the other attorneys there are as well versed (and as funny) as Matt was during his presentation. After having been reading about living trusts, wills, probate, powers of attorney, various other estate planning tools and considerations for things in state, out of state, dealing with young children, and so on over the last couple of years I had been hesitant about selecting a place to go to to start working on the actual paperwork.

Anything involving an attorney of any kind is always going to be a little spendy, but after his presentation I am now much more comfortable that it will be money well spent. I'm an advocate for being thrifty (or maybe just call me cheap), but I do think a good lawyer and accountant are probably expenses that are worth paying for, and Matt's presentation has made me comfortable enough with his firm to give them a try. If you get one of his mailers, I think it's worth it's to do the RSVP and spend the two hours of your time to at least see his spiel.
